Here's a cool project found on Slashdot: If your room doesn't have enough windows, or you don't like the default view, just build a set of Virtual windows from LCD displays.
If I were more hardware inclined, I'd like to give it a shot. But I guess I'll just settle for a HDTV video projector, once I can afford one...
